Danan Enterprises Inc.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026. Last updated October 5, 2026.

The short version

  • This site collects very little: what you type into the contact form, and the basic technical information every website receives when you visit.
  • We use it to answer you, to keep the site secure and working, and to see roughly how many people visit.
  • We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and contacting us does not put you on a marketing list.
  • A few providers help run the site: WP Engine (hosting), Cloudflare (security and delivery), Google (spam protection, fonts and email) and Automattic (visitor statistics).
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. How to reach us is in Section 13.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Danan Enterprises Inc. (“Danan Enterprises,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is a Florida corporation located at 207 Vine Ave., Clearwater, Florida 33755. We decide how the personal information described in this policy is used, which makes us its “controller” or “business” under privacy laws that use those terms. eCom Triage is a trade name of Danan Enterprises Inc., not a separate company.

This policy covers dananenterprises.com (the “Site”) and the messages you send us through it or in reply to us. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.

It does not cover the websites, products or services of the companies shown on our home page, including companies we have invested in but do not control. Each of them has its own website and its own privacy policy, and that policy governs what happens there.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), your message, and your agreement to this policy, with the date and time you sent it.
  • Emails and other messages. Anything you send us directly, such as emails, attachments, and the details you share on calls or in meetings that follow from your inquiry, together with our replies.

Please do not send us sensitive information (for example health, financial account or government identification details) or confidential business information through the Site. Our Terms of Use explain how we treat business pitches and other submissions.

Information collected automatically

  • Form security data. When you submit the contact form, our form software records the IP address and browser details of the device you used, so we can spot spam and abuse.
  • Server and security logs. Like every website, our host (WP Engine) and our network and security provider (Cloudflare) receive your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and the time of the request. They use this to deliver pages, block attacks and fix problems.
  • Visitor statistics. We use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic Inc., to count visits. It receives your IP address, browser details, the page you visit, the page you came from, the time, your browser language and your country, and it counts page views and clicks on outbound links. According to Automattic, the logs that contain IP addresses are kept for 28 days, and we only ever see totals. We cannot see your IP address or identify you from these statistics.
  • Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks whether a visitor is a person or an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and browser and how you interact with the page and sends it to Google. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
  • Fonts. Our typeface is delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser requests it from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.

Information from other sources

If someone introduces you to us, such as one of our companies, an adviser or a mutual contact, we may receive your name, contact details and the reason for the introduction. If you tell us about a business, we may review public information about it, such as its website, filings and press coverage.

What we do not collect

The Site has no user accounts and takes no payments. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking tools, we do not record your session, and we do not collect your precise location. We do not ask for sensitive personal information.

3. How we use information

We use personal information only for the purposes below. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the table also shows the legal basis we rely on.

We do not use your information for decisions made solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We have not done so in the past twelve months. We share personal information only as follows.

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, and that may use the information only to provide their services to us. They include WP Engine (website hosting), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), Google (email through Google Workspace, reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts), Automattic (Jetpack visitor statistics and login security), and software tools, including AI-assisted tools, that help us organize, summarize and draft replies to the messages we receive.
  • Our team and advisers. Employees and contractors who need the information to respond to you, and our professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, all of whom must keep it confidential.
  • Our companies. If your message is about one of the companies shown on the Site, or you ask for an introduction, we may pass your message and contact details to that company so it can respond. From that point, its own privacy policy applies to its use of your information.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business or assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will require the recipient to protect it consistently with this policy.
  • Legal reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Danan Enterprises, our companies, our users or the public, including to prevent fraud and security incidents.
  • With your permission. In any other case where you ask us to, or agree.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. These are the cookies a visitor can receive:

CookieSet byWhat it doesHow long
__cf_bmCloudflareTells people apart from automated traffic so the Site stays protected30 minutes
_GRECAPTCHAGoogle reCAPTCHALets the spam check on the contact form workUp to 6 months

Site administrators who sign in also receive the standard WordPress login cookies. Visitors do not.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, parts of the Site, especially the contact form spam check, may not work.

Opt-out signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. We still treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing, wherever the law gives it that effect. There is no common standard for “Do Not Track” signals, and we do not track you across other websites.

6. How long we keep information

  • Messages and contact form submissions are kept for as long as we need them to respond, follow up, pursue the opportunity you raised and keep reasonable business records. When we no longer need them for those purposes, we delete them or remove the details that identify you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer or we need them to establish or defend a legal claim.
  • Server and security logs are kept by our hosting and security providers for limited periods under their own policies.
  • Visitor statistics logs that contain IP addresses are kept by Automattic for 28 days. The totals we see contain no personal information and may be kept indefinitely.
  • reCAPTCHA data is handled by Google under its own policies.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards suited to the information we hold. The Site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). It runs on managed hosting with security monitoring, sits behind Cloudflare’s attack protection, and limits login attempts and enforces strong passwords for administrator accounts. Access to messages is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs.

No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law, including the Florida Information Protection Act.

8. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, or to delete it. Some laws, described below, give you additional rights. We will not discriminate against you for using any of them.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal information, to restrict or object to our use of it (including use based on our legitimate interests), to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

United States

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, and to access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of it. Some of these laws also give you the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling; we do none of those. Depending on our size, some of these laws may not apply to us, but we honor these requests from all visitors anyway.

California notice at collection. In the past twelve months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your name, email address, phone number and IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (such as your interactions with the Site); approximate location derived from your IP address (country); and professional or commercial information you choose to include in your message. We collect them from you, from your device, and from the people who introduce you to us, for the purposes in Section 3, and we disclose them for business purposes only to the recipients in Section 4. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. We keep information for the periods in Section 6. California residents may also ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing; we do not.

How to make a request

Email us at the address in Section 13 with the subject line “Privacy request”, or write to us at the postal address there. Tell us what you are asking for and how to reach you. To protect you, we will confirm your identity before acting, usually by checking that the request comes from the email address we have on file, and we may ask for a little more information if needed. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask the agent for your signed permission and may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

We respond within the time the law allows: generally one month in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, and 45 days in the United States, extendable where the law permits. If we cannot fully meet your request, we will tell you why.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy appeal.” We will respond in writing within the time required by the law that applies to you, usually 45 or 60 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

9. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and the Site and our providers process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or our providers’ certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions.

10. Children

The Site is meant for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

The Site links to other websites, including those of the companies in our portfolio, YouTube and Amazon. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information. Please read their privacy policies before you share anything with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, our providers or the law change. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and if a change is significant we will also say so at the top of this page for a reasonable time. Changes apply from the date they are posted.
